Yup...I'm married and in love!  YAY!  I love my wife so much.  We have so much fun together...it's hard with our schedules..I get up and leave before she's up everyday to go to work and then I get off at 2 and then I pick her up around 5:30 and then she has to study and we eat and I am usually tired by the time about 10 comes around so I go to sleep, but we find time for dates and meals and such.  It's fun.  Anywho I'll be talking to ya later.

I'm going to be getting married in about 3 days now.  YAY!  I have so much to do that I'm not really able to let it all in.  Just pray that Victoria and I can enjoy the wedding and just be able to be happy and sane until then.  :)

Victoria and I bought our wedding present to each other today.  It's a Sony handycam camcorder!  YAY!!!!!!   It's so awesome.  We decided to go with the Hard Drive Camcorder...meaning it has a 30G hard drive on there for about 7 hours of filming and then we can put it on our computers and edit it really easily and it also means no tapes or mini dvds...EVER!!!!!  Of course we went over our budget, but that's just what we do.  On my way home I felt even more convicted to try and find a job but then I wanted to play with it so I didn't start my search until tonight...but oh boy did I search!  I applied for like 5 jobs, but we'll see what happens with them.  I am going to tell Applebee's tomorrow that I am going to need to quit, but before I do, I need off a lot of days that I am already scheduled.  Like tuesday, wednesday, thursday, saturday, and the following week will be even worse....So basically other than tomorrow (Monday) and Friday of this week, I will not be working there unless I can work the following Monday.  Geez...they are going to hate me.  At least I was told that I was nominated for Employee of the Month.  That's fun, and now pointless. 

Ah well...PLEASE keep praying for me with this job situation!  It wouldn't be as urgent if I weren't getting married in less than 3 weeks now!  I heard one of the pastors at Second Baptist say tonight at Logos something that was so cool yet I forgot exactly how he worded it......SUCK!  I'll do my best..  "Prayer is its most powerful when our need is not partial, but total."  Meaning, when we pray to God, we have to realize that we are not just asking God to help with the part we can't handle, but to completely take control of the entire need.  He is that kind of God.  I love Him and I praise Him for his goodness and His "Muchness"!  He has blessed me with the most amazing fiance I could have ever asked for.  Yes, we have our little battles and struggles, but I am more blessed in the end than the hard times.  God is God and I am not and so I relinquish my so called power to God and I ask that He will continue to bless my life and that I will, along with my future wife, seek after His will and follow Him!

I have a new computer!  YAY!  I haven't written is FOREVER because I always had to borrow my mom's computer and I just didn't have time to write on this...that and I'm getting married in less than a month now!!!!  AHHHHHH.....Ok, I am SO excited about getting married.  let me just tell you what.  Things are getting more and more stressful, but more and more exciting.  I am still trying to find a full time job in Houston for when I move in like less than 4 weeks.  It's not going great, and that makes me uptight.  I had an interview last Thursday and I had one today and I called a few other people today...why can't I stinking get a job???

Anywho...other than that, I am doing great!  I am going to be moving my things to Victoria's apartment in about 3 weeks so that is crazy.  I am very excited about Christmas...victoria and I already set up our Christmas tree (I bought one this past week and lots of decorations)  She won't really have any time to put it up once tests start and we're getting back from our honeymoon on the 23rd so I'd rather not put up the tree on Christmas Eve...we want to be able to enjoy it...so yeah, I REALLY like it!  It is awesome being able to make your own decisions about when your family puts up the tree and what it looks like and having your own family...that one's pretty huge!  I am so in love with Victoria!  It's nuts!  I can't wait to plaster my name to the end of her's.  That'll be fun..  Mrs. Victoria Smith.  AH!!!!!  I'm gonna be Mr. Jody Smith.....with a mrs. attached!  YAY!   anyways, thanks for reading...I'll write more than I have been..ya know, more than 3 times a year.  I'll leave you with a picture of our tree........
